Roberto Cestaro
Graduated in Materials Science from the University of Padua, Roberto Cestaro obtained his Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering at Empa (Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials Science and Technology) and EPFL (École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne). He subsequently carried out post-doctoral research activities at Empa, collaborating with start-ups and industrial partners on projects related to corrosion protection and material durability.
Before starting his career as a patent consultant, Roberto gained solid experience in scientific research, management of academic-industrial collaboration projects, and training of Ph.D. and master’s students. He is the author of numerous articles published in international peer-reviewed journals and has presented his work at international conferences.
Roberto’s professional activity, beyond his areas of specialization, also extends to fields such as mechanics and life sciences. He is involved in the drafting and prosecution of patent applications at both the national and international level, also in conducting prior art searches, and in the preparation of patentability and infringement opinions. Roberto’s activity also includes the registration of designs.
